Top Sun Perennials: Lilly of the Nile (Agapanthus)

A tough and beautiful perennial bulb with bold blooms in summer. Lily of the Nile can be grown anywhere as long as there is enough light to encourage blooming. Clumps of slender, strap-like foliage provide a base for strong, sturdy stems topped with white, blue, or purple flower heads. Depending on the variety, these versatile plants can be planted where height is needed or as a fun accent in the landscape. They can also spice things up in a container, provided there is good drainage. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and bees while being tolerant of drought, heat and deer resistant too!
