Peppermint can be used in sauces for meats like lamb. Bright green leaves can be added to fresh fruit salads or used to add flavor to a variety of desserts.
Medicinal
A commonly used herb to aid in digestion. An easy way to freshen your breath as well. Often used when under the weather with a cold or the flu.
Cocktail
Combine muddled mint leaves with a little lime, rum, simply syrup, soda water and ice for a classic mojito for a warm summer evening.
Tea
Gently bruise or crush fresh leaves and add to hot water. Allow it to steep for ten to fifteen minutes. Sweeten with honey if you wish.
