Keep your poinsettias on point

By following a few basic care tips, your poinsettia will shine throughout the holiday season.

  • Poinsettias need bright, but not direct light. Place in a well-lit location avoiding drafty spots like a window or anywhere that may dry the plant out quickly. Pay close attention to the thermostat as Poinsettias will not survive if the room temperature dips below 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Water when the soil is dry to the touch. Once thoroughly watered, allow to drain completely, making sure that the plant is not sitting in water. Your Poinsettia can benefit from misting as well if humidity levels are low or you find your plant is drying out quickly.
