Top Sun Annuals: Dahlia

These sun loving beauties come in a lavish array of bright colors in both flower and foliage. Dahlia blooms can be petite or dinner plate size and used in the flower beds or for a cut flower arrangement. There really is a Dahlia for everyone; not to mention they are easy to grow! They do need a bit more care as they are sensitive to the cold climates. When you find a favorite color or shape, take time to save them for next summer by digging up the tubers and storing them over winter. If you live in a more moderate climate, you can simply cut them down to the ground and patiently await their arrival next year!
