This warm season grass offers a thick, plush blanket of densely packed blades in deep green. Which won’t show extensive wear and tear.
Maintenance
Fertilizing
As weather cools, use a slow-release fertilizer like Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Lawn Food to strengthen the lawn’s roots. It feeds the lawn consistently and is better for the environment.
Watering
Follow summer irrigation guidelines. Dormant lawn may still need to be watered in dry, warm weather. Newly planted sod should be watered.
Mowing
Mow at 2” when nighttime temperatures drop below 70 degrees.
